Strategi Pendidik Dalam Membentuk Karakter Religius Peserta Didik Di SMP Islam Integral AJJA Pangkalpinang

Abstract

The formation of the religious character of students is one of the important aspects in the implementation of education, especially in the midst of social changes and technological developments that affect the behavior patterns of the younger generation. This study aims to analyze the strategy of educators in forming the religious character of students in SMP Islam Integral AJJA Pangkalpinang, the form of implementation of these strategies, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in the process of forming religious character. The research uses qualitative approach with case study design. Data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving principals, educators, learners, and related parties in the school environment. Data analysis is done through the stages of data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the strategy of religious character formation is done through the integration of religious values in learning, habituation of worship, exemplary educators, discipline development, creation of religious school culture, and strengthening through religious activities. The strategy is directed not only to the mastery of religious knowledge, but also to the formation of attitudes, habits and behavior of learners in everyday life. Supporting factors include educator commitment, school culture, parental involvement, and a conducive educational environment, while inhibiting factors include differences in the background of students, the influence of the outside school environment, and the use of poorly controlled technology. This study confirms that the formation of religious character requires a strategy that is systematic, consistent, and involves the entire educational ecosystem.
